Excited Elk Splash Around in Estes Park Pond
An excited gang of elk splashed around in a pond in Estes Park, Colorado, in an attempt to cool off in the Colorado summer heat, recently shared video shows.
Estes Park resident Kristi Hazelton said she recorded footage of a group of elk playing in water in a pond near her home as temperatures reached 88 degrees Fahrenheit.
“They frolicked and had fun in the water. This particular young cow elk seemed to have a lot of fun stomping and splashing in the water,” she said. Credit: Kristi Hazelton via Storyful
