Courtney Act has promised to ring in Christmas with a "bloody gay" special on Channel 4.

The Celebrity Big Brother winner is hosting Courtney Act’s Christmas Extravaganza on Christmas Eve with a whole host of special guests, including Little Mix.

Courtney will also be reuniting the RuPaul’s Drag Race Top Four from season six, Adore Delano, Bianca Del Rio and Darienne Lake, known as the ABCD of drag, for her show.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy about how it’s the first time the quartet have all been on TV together since the show, she said: "I always wanted them to be in it, then we were working on stuff and I was like, 'Do you guys want to be on my Christmas special? We can have a singalong around the piano', as we have a big baby grand.

"So we all gather round and have a cute little moment, we sing 'Thank You For Being A Friend' from Golden Girls. It was a really cute moment.

"It was so nice to have them there. I've known them since 2013 and I think they were just really proud. You could see they were just proud and supportive."

Describing the show, The Bi Life host continued: “It's bloody gay. It's so much fun. It's nothing like anything that's on television at the moment, that I've seen.

"I’ve been trying to be a good new person who is living in the UK by watching as many TV shows as I can, old and new. It's more like an old Morecambe and Wise special or a Judy Garland Christmas special.

"There's dancers and costumes and special guests and giant candy canes on wheels that the dancers whizz around, and giant Christmas presents that Leona Lewis and I sit on top of and sing a duet. Then there's a giant rainbow.

"We start off very traditional. We lull the UK family audience who are sitting at home on Christmas Eve just enjoying a camp bit of entertainment, but in the very traditional Christmas aesthetic. But then we sort of take them on a journey and end with rainbows and rainbow confetti."

Courtney Act’s Christmas Extravaganza will premiere on Christmas Eve at 11.05pm on Channel 4.
