Flooded with avant rock and splashes of funk abstraction, Lil Yachty's latest album, "Let's Start Here," is a startling departure from his previous work. Just weeks after the Atlanta rapper took America on a fantastic voyage to the top of the rock and alternative charts, Billboard has announced plans to cruise the Atlanta rapper into Waterloo Harbor (ahem, Park) for the second installment of the music magazine's Stage at SXSW concert series.

More SXSW:Tilda Swinton, Robert Downey Jr., Kristen Bell added to star-studded lineup

Lil Yachty will cast off for the three-day party at the South by Southwest Music Festival on March 16. Latin superstars Feid and Eladio Carrión will play the stage on March 17, and electronic music giants Kaskade and deadmau5 bring their collaborative project, Kx5, to the park to close out the series on March 18. Rappers Lola Brook and Armani White have been tapped as openers.

(Worth noting: While the series has done a great job presenting ethnic and genre diversity, it is now zero-for-six on booking a female headliner act. Last year, Billboard brought Young Thug and Gunna, Shawn Mendes and Kygo to the fest.)

A portion of tickets will be reserved for SXSW wristband and badge-holders, but general admission tickets for the show are also available and go on sale at 11 a.m. through Ticketmaster. A portion of ticket sales will benefit Waterloo Greenway.

Billboard will also take over 800 Congress Ave. on March 17, turning it into the Billboard House. The activation will feature interactive fun, food, drinks and conversations. Entry will be first come, first served; there will be reserved spaces for SXSW music and platinum badge-holders and people with music wristbands.

SXSW Music Festival runs from March 13-18. Music festival wristbands are on sale for Austin-area fans for $149 at sxsw.com.

Correction: An earlier version of this story mentioned that headlining artists will speak at Billboard House. The lineup for the Billboard House conversations has not been finalized.
