Exclusive: Ouai and Summer Fridays Teamed Up to Create the Masque Set Travel Kit

And what better way to celebrate the friendship of two fan-favorite beauty brands than with a travel kit featuring two of their most beloved products?
As Allure exclusively reports, the brands founded by hairstylist Jen Atkin and blogger tag team Marianna Hewitt and Lauren Gores Ireland, respectively, are teaming up this holiday season to launch the Masque Set, which features travel-friendly versions of Ouai's Treatment Masque and Summer Fridays' Jet Lag Mask (both of which come in 1oz. tubes), plus a white cotton headband to keep your hair away from your face while using the products in tandem. Call it multi-masking 2.0.
"I am a full believer in supporting my friends and their brands because I know the hustle is real and we are stronger when we work together," hairstylist and founder of Ouai Haircare Jen Atkin tells Allure. The feeling is clearly mutual: "Jen has really been a guiding light to both Marianna and me since before we even launched Summer Fridays," co-founder and co-CEO of Summer Fridays Lauren Gores Ireland adds. "We know our fans also connect with Ouai products for their quick and effortless solutions to stressed-out hair. We didn't have to think about how our brands would pair next to each other — we immediately knew how incredible it would be to pair products together that would give your hair and skin a mega boost."
As three of the biggest beauty influencers around, it should come as little surprise that the art of jet-set pampering is something that Atkin, Gores Ireland, and Hewitt have down to a science. Ouai's nourishing Treatment Masque was intentionally packaged in TSA-friendly, single-use packets, and the name of Summer Fridays' inaugural product was a literal nod to the rigors of traversing across time zones. The latter, unsurprisingly, has a devoted fan in Atkin herself: "I apply it on planes and on days where I need to look alive, and it removes any puffiness and gives me the hydration I need."
