The executive director of Pathway Services Unlimited, Inc., in Jacksonville announced that she is retiring at the end of March.

Maryjane Million has headed Pathway, which provides an array of services to adults with developmental disabilities and other physical and mental challenges, since March 2020. She served on the Pathway board of directors before her selection as executive director.

“On behalf of the board, we extend our thanks to Maryjane for her outstanding leadership of the organization,” said Kevin Eckhoff, president of Pathway's board of directors. “Maryjane started her tenure as executive director at the beginning of COVID-19. Despite the numerous challenges the pandemic presented, she always kept the needs of our individuals first, while also moving the agency forward.”

Pathway provides adult day program, vocational, home-based support and community living services to more than 200 individuals with developmental disabilities in five counties in west central Illinois. It was founded in 1964.

Eckhoff said the board will conduct "a regional search" for Million's replacement.
