EXETER – Exeter Health Resources’ Human Resources/Employment team has created a new careers landing page, ExeterCareers.com to elevate the application process for jobs with the three operating affiliates of Exeter Health Resources: Exeter Hospital, Core Physicians, and Rockingham Visiting Nurse Association & Hospice.

The new page includes department-specific blog posts, a resume builder, as well as some exciting new interactive features.

“Our goal is to create multiple avenues for candidates to learn more about our open positions through increased accessibility and a seamless experience,” says Caroline Fleming, Talent Acquisition Manager, Human Resources.

The new Careers page offers a 24/7 chat function and call center, enabling candidates to immediately engage with a representative who can answer questions and offer help, if needed. The reps are also able to assess the candidates to ensure their experience matches job requirements. A “quick apply” feature allows candidates to submit basic demographic info so a representative can follow up with them in a timely manner.

“There is an extremely limited number of external job applicants right now due to the labor shortage in New Hampshire, which currently has the third lowest unemployment rate in the country,” says Charley Thomas, Director, HR Employment. “These enhancements to our online presence ensure someone is able to engage with a candidate immediately and make the application process as seamless as possible.”

The HR/Employment team will also soon be implementing a new, electronic process to schedule interviews with candidates through calendar invites sent via the Symplr applicant tracking system (formerly Position Manager). This will eliminate the need for emails or phone calls, as it allows candidates to schedule directly into open time slots.
