Exeter's Hannah Baker, Redwood's Morgan Castaneda headline all-league awards

Two Tulare County high school student-athletes headlined the 2022 All-Tri-County Conference and East Yosemite League volleyball teams.

Exeter's Hannah Baker was voted by the league's respective coaches as the Tri-County Conference Kings Canyon Division's most valuable player.

Baker led the Monarchs to an absolute conference title, amassing 124 kills in eight league games. The Monarchs won the Kings Canyon league title with an 8-0 record.

Redwood senior Morgan Castaneda was named the 2022 EYL most valuable player.

Castaneda helped the Rangers win an outright EYL title with a perfect 10-0 conference record. She fired 154 kills during league play and averaged five kills per set.

Lemoore setter Elizabeth Schalde earned the top award in the West Yosemite League as the conference's most valuable player.

All-league teams are selected by each conference's respective coaches.
