DOVER — The Award-Winning Art Center in Dover, N.H has just opened a superb cooperative exhibit that celebrates the new partnership between The Art Center and the New Hampshire Art Association that started in January of this year. The work of members of both organizations will be shown through the month of June at The Art Center.

The work is available for purchase in person at The Art Center and online.  An artists’ reception will be held on Saturday, June 11 from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Art Center.

Garrison Players presents: Taylor Marie Full Band Debut Performance

ROLLINSFORD — Taylor Marie, Cassidy Donahue, Jake Bartolin and Joshua Lang come together for their debut band performance at Garrison Players Art Center on July 17, from 6 to 8 p.m.

Taylor Marie is a local country folk singer/songwriter from Rollinsford, N.H. Taylor Marie writes music that reflects the everyday world of a young adult playing many different roles. Marie has been playing and writing music since she was 12 years old and was originally inspired by her dad who played guitar. Other inspirations include Taylor Swift, James Taylor, Kelsea Ballerina and Janis Joplin. Marie has played live on radio stations such as 103.9 WKXM Granite State of Mind in Concord and 95.3 WMNH Granite State of Mind in Manchester. Marie can be seen playing around the New Hampshire and Southern Maine Seacoast at the Governor’s Inn and Flight Coffee. In addition to this Marie has played in the Greater Boston area for the Boston Public Market and The Burren’s “In the Round” series. Taylor Marie and her band are excited to be making their debut full band performance on the Garrison Players Arts Center Outdoor Stage this summer. Her full band includes Cassidy Donahue on bass, Jake Bartolin on guitar and Josh Lang on the drums.
