More than 5 million tickets have sold in the U.S. to the Immersive Van Gogh exhibit which arrived in metro Phoenix on Aug. 26, 2021.

Next up for art fans is "Immersive Monet & The Impressionists," scheduled to run in Phoenix from July 29 to Sept. 18. Claude Monet, Pierre-Auguste Renoir, Edgar Degas and Mary Cassatt are among the artists whose paintings will be on display at the exhibition.

“Claude Monet and his peers are inspirational figures in art history and natural choices for an immersive experience,” Corey Ross said in a press release. Ross is co-producer of Immersive Monet & The Impressionists and founder of Lighthouse Immersive.

“The spontaneity of Impressionism is expressed in movement and color, two mediums that our state-of-the-art projection systems present quite well," Ross continued. "Projection mapping and immersive experiences are shaking up the art world much like Monet and his contemporaries did with their groundbreaking Impressionism. We are eager to bring their vibrant colors and magnificent beauty to many of our Lighthouse ArtSpace venues.”

Ticket presale began May 10, with the ticketing website offering a 20% discount offer for VIP and premium level tickets. Customers must type in the code "EARLYBIRD" in order to access tickets presale tickets.

Public sale for tickets begins on May 12.

What to expect from 'Immersive Monet & The Impressionists'?

The new exhibition will feature 500,000 cubic feet of projections of more than 1.2 million frames of video. In addition to the Impressionist painters, the exhibition will also feature the marine paintings of J.M. W. Turner and the Post-Impressionist works of Toulouse-Lautrec.

“While our previous immersive experiences have focused on the lives and work of individual artists, this piece focuses more on an era of change in art history that paved the way for modern art,” Svetlana Dvoretsky, co-producer of the exhibition, said in a press release.

“The late 19th century was a tumultuous and exciting time for art as new ideas and methods circulated outside of traditionalist institutions," Dvoretsky added. "That excitement is captured wholly in this outstanding new work by our Italian creative team.”
