Expert Explains Why He Fought To Have Andrew Tate Videos Removed From YouTube

Andrew Tate claimed to help young men acquire money, drive luxury cars, and pick up “hot” women through videos dispersed on social media with millions of views. However, in August 2022, he was banned form social media for violating policies, and recently, he and his brother were detained by Romanian authorities in connection with an investigation into human trafficking, rape, and an organized crime. Imran Ahmed, CEO and Founder of the Center for Countering Digital Hate, was instrumental in removing Tate’s videos from YouTube. In the video above from Friday’s episode of Dr. Phil, “The Demise of Guys,” Ahmed shares why it was important to him to end Tate’s promotion on social media. On Friday, Dr. Phil mediates a healthy debate about masculinity with Ahmed, the “Godfather of the Manosphere," a scholar and author, and a men’s rights attorney.
