- A huge fire erupted after an explosion at a Styrofoam manufacturing business in Oakland Park this morning. Chopper 4 was over the scene in the 4200 block of Northeast 6th Avenue, where you can see heavy smoke coming from the building as the firefighters worked to get control of the fire and put it out.

The explosion caused part of the wall of the building to collapse. 14 employees were inside and were able to evacuate safely.

STEPHEN KRIVJANIK: Styrofoam has a very, very, very, low flash point. So within seven minutes or so, from what I understand, the whole building was on fire.

- The cause of the explosion remains under investigation. About 100 firefighters from three different departments helped put out the fire.
