Explosions Heard 'Streets Away' as Fire Breaks Out at Sydney Motorcycle Shop

A fire broke out at a motorcycle shop in Sydney late on May 22, the local fire department said, with locals in the St Peters area of the city’s inner west saying explosions could be heard.

The Sydney Morning Herald said more than a dozen crews were called to a fire, at Percy Jack Motorcycles.

Martin Newman, who shot this video from nearby Lord Street, said there were “explosions heard streets away. Lots of fire engines and police have sealed either end of May Street.”
