Explosions rocked the skies above Kyiv as Ukrainian air defenses worked to defend the capital from the latest barrage of Russian ballistic missiles, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said on Telegram.

Medics were called to Kyiv’s Dniprovskyi district to aid at least one injured person, he said.

Falling debris was recorded in the area, the Kyiv City Military Administration (KMDA) said, adding that emergency services are headed to the scene.
