Explosions rock Russian-occupied Melitopol, locomotive depot struck
Fedorov said that it was unclear what exactly "is burning behind enemy lines this time" and urged to wait for details from the Ukrainian military’s General Staff.

The explosions occurred near the depot, local news outlet RIA Melitopol reported. Smoke rose over the site of the strike, near the railroad.
At about 50 kilometers from the front line in Zaporizhzhya, the site is well within the 70-kilometer range of Ukraine’s high-precision HIMARS rocket system.
Russian Telegram channels confirmed reports of a strike on the depot, but claimed that "almost all the shells were shot down."
The Melitopol mayor also later reported about the hits on the depot.

"The occupiers of Melitopol can’t catch a break with the locomotive depot," noted Fedorov.
“For the third time in the space of a week, something has exploded there.”
He added that residents are noticing black smoke.
It is unclear what enemy equipment was targeted.
