An unidentified drone dropped an explosive device on an industrial enterprise in Shebekino, Belgorod Oblast on June 24, Russian media have reported.

The regional governor Vyacheslav Gladkov said the facility was set on fire, but reported no casualties.

Another outbreak of fire was also observed in the regional capital of Belgorod itself. The reasons for the blaze are yet to be declared.

An explosive device was also dropped the same day on a house in another town of Belgorod Oblast, Grayvoron, located close to Russia’s border with Ukraine.

The house and gas pipeline damaged. No one was hurt in the incident, according to the governor.

There has been a spate of drone attacks on Russian infrastructure and industrial objects in recent months, widely attributed by the Russian authorities to Ukraine.

The Ukrainian authorities deny being behind the attacks, though several of the unmarked drones recovered by the Russian authorities appear to be of known Ukrainian designs.

In one of the most striking such incidents, more than a dozen drones were seen over the western residential districts of Moscow on May 30, at least two of which struck residential buildings.
