Extended 'Avengers: Endgame' re-release confirmed for UK cinemas
The extended re-release of Avengers: Endgame will arrive at cinemas this weekend.
Though the re-release had been mentioned by Marvel boss Kevin Feige, official word of when or if it might hit UK cinemas hadn't been handed down by Disney.
But now, thanks to the Cineworld chain's website, it's being listed for release on June 28, and with the new runtime of 188 minutes.

This compares with the original 181 minutes, so perhaps there's a tad more to the additional material than Feige has hinted.
He told Screenrant last week: “Not an extended cut, but there will be a version going into theaters with a bit of a marketing push with a few new things at the end of the movie.
“If you stay and watch the movie, after the credits, there’ll be a deleted scene, a little tribute, and a few surprises. Which will be next weekend.”
Yahoo Movies UK has contacted Disney for official confirmation.
Though not specified by Feige, the ‘little tribute’ will doubtless be for the Marvel legend Stan Lee, who sadly did not get to see the final movie.
He died in November last year.

It could give the last instalment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe's 22 movie arc an additional boost at the box office from the hardcore fanbase.
The movie has so far brought in $2.75 billion worldwide, just short of Avatar's $2.78 billion back in 2009, which makes Cameron's movie still the highest-grossing movie ever, for now.
That said, Endgame is still a fair bit shy of the $3.3 billion Avatar made when inflation is taken into account.
Still, the re-release will extend the movie's incredibly comfortable lead as the highest grossing movie of the year so far (in second place is Captain Marvel with $1.1 billion).
