Extra dolphin sail added to Fins & Freedom 2023 season in partnership with Schooner Freedom Charters

In response to popular demand, an extra opportunity to set sail and explore the local wildlife has been added to the 2023 season.

Partnering with Schooner Freedom Charters, Inc., this special Fins & Freedom Sail is set to take place on Thursday, October 26th, from 1:15 p.m. to 3:15 p.m. along the scenic Intracoastal Waterway.

On this unique excursion, participants will have the chance to spot a variety of fascinating marine creatures, including dolphins, manatees, sea turtles, sharks, fish, and an array of bird species, all within their stunning natural habitat.

This outdoor educational experience, designed for all ages, offers an incredible opportunity to learn about the remarkable wildlife that shares St. Augustine as its home. Marine Biologist Terran McGinnis will be on board to provide valuable insights into the local ecosystem and its diverse inhabitants.

An additional highlight of the Fins & Freedom Sail is that every pass includes a complimentary ticket to Marineland Dolphin Adventure. There, guests can get up close and personal with some of the amazing creatures they’ve observed during the sail.

It’s important to note that after this upcoming sail on October 26th, this program will not be offered again until March 2024. Therefore, this is a unique opportunity for residents and visitors to make the most of this season’s Fins & Freedom Sail.
