'Extremely excessive': Sacramento mother says principal, staff pinned her 8-year-old son down for 22 minutes

A Sacramento mother is transferring her son out of Twin Rivers Unified School District after disturbing accusations against the Woodlake Elementary School principal. "Twenty-two minutes of restraining a special needs 8-year-old child is extremely excessive," Holly Davis told KCRA 3 on Thursday. She says that on Jan. 18, she was called to pick her son up from school, and as she walked in, she saw the principal and another staff member pinning her son down. Davis reached out to KCRA 3 to report the incident.
