F1 Spanish Grand Prix Qualifying Results: Mercedes Pair to Start Sunday's Race 1-2
Mercedes is not taking last week's Formula 1 defeat lighty.
After losing the top spot of the podium to Max Verrstappen and Red Bull at Silverstone in the F1 70th Anniversary Grand Prix, Mercedes and drivers Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas sent a message with a 1-2 qualifying effort on Saturday at Barcelona.
Verstappen qualified third, and Racing Point's Segio Perez and Lance Stroll qualified 3-4.
Mercedes locked up the front row in Barcelona for the seventh time in the last eight years. For Hamilton, it is his 92nd career pole, extending his own F1 record. The front-row start in Sunday's F1 Spanish Grand Prix will be the 150th of his career.
