FA Cup draw: Mad weekend points to potential Manchester derby final
The FA Cup saw how bonkers the Premier League season had been, and just upped the ante with a wild quarterfinal weekend that saw Manchester City, Brighton, Manchester United, and Sheffield United advance to the semifinal round.
We went from shock to shock at Old Trafford, as Manchester United looked set to throw away a semifinal berth only to see 9-man Fulham give it to them on a platter.

Now the Red Devils are a win over Brighton — that should be a cracker! — away from a final that could be a Manchester derby should Sheffield United fail to surprise Manchester City in the semifinal.
It’s all nuts, as is Manchester City’s stat sheet after Erling Haaland followed up a five-goal midweek in the UEFA Champions League by scoring three more against Burnley on Saturday (highlights below).
