Several videos being shared on Facebook show the end of a Sunday police chase in Ball with a partially naked motorist who earlier had forced other drivers to the shoulder and drove against traffic before being apprehended, according to police.

The man, 67-year-old Duane Boudreaux of Scott, was arrested by the Pineville Police Department and booked into the Rapides Parish Detention Center #1 on charges of fourth-offense operating a vehicle while intoxicated, felony aggravated flight from an officer, reckless operation, aggravated assault with a motor vehicle on a peace officer and more.

The video shows a white pickup truck driving in circles through the U.S. Highway 165 and Shanghai Road intersection and grass median near Ball Town Hall while being pursued by a Pineville officer in a marked vehicle. The truck eventually hits the police car head-on at a low speed in the intersection, but the driver keeps accelerating after the impact.

Other traffic can be seen stopped on the highway.

The officer gets out and points his weapon at the truck. The driver, who is naked from the waist down, gets out of the truck and lies down on the road.

Another online version of the video shows the officer later handcuffing the man and placing him in the back seat of his police unit as traffic begins to flow again.

A news release from the department issued Wednesday states the officer saw the truck swerve into oncoming traffic in the 3200 block of Military Highway around 5:30 p.m. Sunday. Both the officer and another motorist had to move to the shoulder to avoid being hit, it reads.

The officer tried to stop the driver, but he didn't pull over.

The driver then headed to U.S. 165, driving south in the northbound lanes "at speeds of up to 95 mph causing numerous vehicles to swerve in order to avoid any accidents," it reads.

Bail for Boudreaux has been set at $112,000, but he remains in jail on a hold for a felony fugitive warrant.
