What is your favorite memory with Bowie basketball?

My favorite memory with Bowie basketball was in the locker room after the second-round playoff win against Judson last year. After the game, our coach (Celester Collier) came in and started dancing. The entire team got hyped. It was a big win that extended our season.

Which school do you consider Bowie's biggest rival?

Lake Travis. We play Lake Travis two times a year and have also met them in the playoffs. The games are always exciting and extremely close. The winner alternates between us and them.

Has basketball taught you any lessons you apply to daily life?

Basketball is important in helping me realize the significance of teamwork and dedication. Success comes when the entire team works together toward one goal with daily dedication.

What is your favorite play to make in a game?

A 3-pointer is my favorite play. It gets us the maximum amount of points we can get on each possession.

What do you plan to do after you graduate?

I plan to attend college to further my education and to continue to play basketball.

If you could have dinner with four people in the history of the world, who would they be?

I would choose Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods, Barack Obama and Martin Luther King Jr.

Why Obama?

He was the first African American to become the president of the United States. It would be awesome to talk to him and discuss what made him successful in his career.

What do you consider the world's greatest invention?

Cellphones should be considered one of the greatest inventions. It is a great way to quickly communicate with others from anywhere.

Outside of basketball, what do you like most about your school?

I like that my school has a large enrollment. This provides many opportunities to meet different people.

Do you have any game-day rituals? I have a music playlist that I listen to before each game. It helps me focus on the game plan for the day.

If you could visit any place in the U.S., where would you go? I would like to visit New York to attend a basketball game at Madison Square Garden. It is one of the most famous arenas with a history of exciting games.
