Fairfax Schools Continue Meal Distribution During Spring Break

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA — While the week of April 6 to 10 designated as a spring break holiday, Fairfax County Public Schools will continue meal distribution and meal delivery on bus routes. Hours for meal distribution at school sites and curbside service sites are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., Monday to Friday. The hours for pop-up community sites and bus routes remain unchanged.

Teacher-directed distance learning will begin for all Tuesday, April 14 after the scheduled spring break and teacher workday.

All FCPS students and any Fairfax County resident under 18 can receive breakfast and lunch for free and adults can receive a meal for $2. Adults may pick up children's meals. No registration is required to obtain a meal.

School distribution sites are offering curbside pickups in bus lanes or kiss and ride areas. Food and Nutrition Services staff will deliver meals directly to vehicles at a canopy tent. Walk-ups are also welcome at all sites.

Several sites allow multiple meals (breakfast and lunch) to be picked up at one time. This is available weekdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at these sites:
