Fairfield Christian Academy Middle School archery team wins state title

LANCASTER — The Fairfield Christian Academy Middle School Archery team is headed to Nationals after winning the 2022 Ohio National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) state tournament.

The Knights won the state title for the Ohio NASP Archery Bullseye Championship. There were 25 middle schools compete and all three of Fairfield Christian’s archery (elementary, middle, and high school) teams qualified to compete in the 2022 NASP Eastern National Tournament in Louisville, KY., which will be held in May at the Kentucky State Fair’s Exposition Center.

Out of 325 middle school boys competing, Fairfield Christian had three individuals place in the Top 10, including Connor Blair, who placed first. Asher Rowley finished third and Jonnie Sparks placed seventh.
