Fairport Harbor Public Library taking applications for Summer Art & Craft Fair

Mar. 27—Fairport Harbor Public Library is taking applications for artists and crafters to set up a booth at the annual Summer Art & Craft Fair on June 10.

From 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., visitors will shop display booths of dozens of local artists and crafters, participate in community art projects, and watch demonstrations. The Friends of Fairport Harbor Public Library will be holding a book sale and selling refreshments as well.

Last year the fair had 400 visitors, according to a news release.

For a $25 donation to the Friends of Fairport Harbor Public Library, artists will have a 14-by-14-foot area to display work and to sell to guests on the library south lawn. Artists also are welcome to demonstrate their skill in their display space.

All work being displayed or sold must be handmade/produced by the vendor — no commercially made products or corporate vendors, the release stated. The fair will be held rain or shine.

The application deadline is June 8. Pick up an application at the library, 335 Vine St., or visit its website to print one online. Contact the library at 440-354-8191 or askus@fairport.lib.oh.us for more information.
