Falcon King Soopers now open for business

(FALCON, Colo.) — At a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, Jan. 24, the newest King Soopers location in Falcon celebrated its grand opening.

The store, located at 7530 Falcon Market Place, soft opened to customers at 8:30 a.m., followed by an official ribbon-cutting ceremony, in which store leadership and associates welcomed the community to their brand-new store.

“We can’t think of a better location to open our 13th Marketplace store than right here in Falcon,” said Joe Kelley, President of King Soopers. “We are excited to be part of this growing and vibrant community and we look forward to being your Hometown Grocer, providing access to fresh, affordable, and delicious food and other essentials.”

In addition to opening day festivities, like gift card raffles and samples, the store also presented a check for $60,000 to the USO, as part of an ongoing effort that the company says aims to end hunger in local communities.
