Fall apple picking: Where to find orchards around Indianapolis

The crisp, autumn air will soon be upon us. That means apples, Indianapolis.

There are plenty of orchards in and around the Circle City where lovers of Gala, McIntosh, Jonagold and various apple types can stock up with bags or snag one right off a locally grown tree.

And fun doesn’t stop at apple picking, some locations have entertainment to celebrate the season in addition to treats like cider and donuts.
