We tested the Bose Sleepbuds II and were impressed by how well they stay secure in the ears overnight. Our tester admitted to moving a lot in her sleep, so she was pleasantly surprised at how well the buds stayed put in her ears all night. This is thanks to their smooth surface and low profile that keeps them from getting caught on sheets or pillowcases. Our tester also noted their impressive battery life, lasting up to nine hours with a spare charge in its case. The buds even have a morning alarm function so you don't have to worry about sleeping late on workdays.
There are a few drawbacks to the Sleepbuds II, especially depending on the size of your ear canal. Our tester admitted to waking up at some point in the night to take the buds out because of the fit, but she said that could be due to her smaller ear canal. You'll also have to use your phone to make audio adjustments to the buds, so make sure you find the right settings for your preferred night's sleep. Speaking of the audio, the sound library on the Bose app (which you'll need to download to use the buds) has 50 tracks in total that range from natural sounds to soft synthesized music. Our tester noted how beneficial it would've been to include nighttime meditation sessions, guided breathing or sleep stories.
Still, the Sleepbuds II are an innovative idea to help others find the best sleep possible. It seemed like an expensive endeavor to our tester, so this discount is the perfect time to give it a whirl.
