Fall festival at Growing Gardens and other Boulder events for today

Oct. 12—Community Harvest Festival: Growing Gardens is throwing a party, complete with face painting, lawn games, goats, live bluegrass tunes from Steepland String Band, food trucks, a beer garden and more. Pumpkin Decorating for Fall Festival: Those who want to decorate a pumpkin for the Lafayette Recreation's Fall Fest (on Oct. 22), can pick up a pumpkin Wednesday and Thursday, take it home and make it a masterpiece, then drop it off on Oct. 21 to enter the competition; Wednesday and Thursday, Bob Burger Rec Center, 111 W.
