Fall for Greenville 2022: A festival guide to food, music, parking and more

The start of the Bank of America Fall for Greenville festival, presented by Pepsi, means a ton of food, drink and music options are to arrive downtown on Thursday, Oct. 13.

The festival will be in full swing by Friday night, Oct. 14, on and around Main Street from West and East North streets into the West End, and it will run through Sunday, Oct. 16.

Fall for Greenville is a free event for the public, though food, drinks and some kid's activities must be purchased.

Fall for Greenville festival hours

Thursday, Oct. 13: Kickoff concert (CPI Security West End Stage) 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.Friday, Oct. 14: Noon to 10 p.m.Saturday, Oct 15: 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.Sunday, Oct 16: Noon to 7 p.m.

How to use tickets to buy things at Fall for Greenville

While festival entry and entertainment are free, "Taste Tickets" are required to purchase food, drinks and activities like children's rides at the festival. Each ticket is the equivalent of $1. They're sold in sheets of five and will be for sale at street corners throughout downtown.

The tickets are good through the entire 2022 festival.

As a promotion, tickets are being offered at a discount through Oct. 13. If you buy 10 sheets or $50 worth of tickets, you get one sheet, or $5 worth, for free. These presale tickets can be purchased online at fallforgreenville.net, and also in person Oct. 10-13 at two locations:

  • Experience Clemson: 1 N. Main St., Suite B, Greenville SC, 29601 – Weekdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • Diamonds Direct: 1113 Woodruff Road, Greenville SC, 29607 – Weekdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Food at Fall for Greenville

More than 50 restaurants with more than 250 food options are to be available at the festival, with items ranging in cost from two to eight tickets.

Shrimp and grits, Philly-cheesesteak eggrolls, empanadas and assorted desserts will be among the highlights for everyone to enjoy.

Beer and wine at Fall for Greenville

The Carolina Ale House Beer Garden will host a craft beer lineup with selections from 24 breweries on site offering various stouts, ales and more.

Additionally, a selection of more than 40 wines is to be offered at the CenterWell Senior Primary Care Wine Garden, with selections ranging from Oregon's Williamette Valley to Italy.

Those who wish to consume alcohol during the festival will need to purchase a $1 wristband.

Culinary demonstrations at Fall for Greenville

Food and art are to intertwine at the US Foods Culinary Stage for culinary demonstrations at the entrance of Falls Park over the course of the weekend.

The culinary stage's schedule will be announced on the festival's website closer to Fall for Greenville's opening.

Music at Fall for Greenville

Fall for Greenville will feature six performance stages and open with Chapel Hart leading the Kickoff Concert on Thursday evening.

Valarie June will headline the festival on Sunday evening at the Clemson Main Stage at 5 p.m.

Other acts to show are The Vegabonds, Mac Arnold & Plate Full O' Blues, XperienceSoul and many more.

Parking at Fall for Greenville

Free parking is available at County Square, 301 University Ridge, where the Greelink Trolley will run a shuttle service to drop off at the intersection of Augusta and Main streets.

All city-owned parking garages will host a $5 flat fee during Fall for Greenville.

There are also bike valet options available, as well.

Kid activities at Fall for Greenville

The Visual Comfort & Co. Kids' Area is to be located on East Broad Street and will feature a rock-climbing wall, a rapid slide, a kids' Ferris wheel and more. Tickets will be needed to purchase rides.
