Fall events Saturday in Spartanburg: A Taste of Autumn at AC Hotel; Fall for Main Street

Fall is here.

That slight chill to the morning air can already be felt across Spartanburg County and the Upstate.

You don't have to head for the mountains to enjoy the tastes, smells and chills of autumn. Spartanburg County has plenty of fall events to keep you busy.

Several Spartanburg events were disrupted by Hurricane Ian and have been rescheduled.

Here are just a few of the events we are looking forward to in the upcoming weeks and months.

AC Hotel by Marriott Spartanburg hosts “A Taste of Autumn”

The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 22 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the AC Hotel Marriott in downtown Spartanburg, featuring:

⊳Tastings with Six & Twenty Distillery, Holliday Brewing and Angeline Collection by Martin Ray.

⊳Free yoga classes on the lawn by Yogalicious

⊳Live music by Michael Cash

⊳There will be a special event menu for purchase including a Bloody Mary bar with all the fixings.

Fall for Main Street

Get ready for the fourth annual street festival on Main Street with pop-up vendors, food trucks and entertainment.

Fall for Main Street will be held Saturday, Oct. 22 on Main Street in downtown Spartanburg. The event is from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. Everyone and their furry friends are welcome to this event.

Fall food trucks: Here are the Spartanburg food trucks you will want to check out this fall

Downtown Spartanburg Walking Tours

Downtown Spartanburg Walking Tours will be held Oct. 28 and 31 and begin at 6 p.m. at Zimmerli Plaza at the Chapman Cultural Center.

The free walking tours will center around crimes and criminals.

Spartanburg Philharmonic: We are Music

The Spartanburg Philharmonic season, We are Music, launched September 24. This season is the orchestra's most expansive in their 94 year history.

On Nov. 5, violinist Fabiola Kim will sweep you away with her performance of the ultimate Russian fairytale, found in Stravinksy's The Firebird. Kim's performance will be held at the Twichell Auditorium, located on 580 East Main Street in Spartanburg. Tickets are available to purchase.

Festifall at Walnut Grove

Travel back in time to the Colonial era at Walnut Grove's 30th annual Festifall. This event allows visitors to travel to the American Revolution to see skirmish reenactments, Colonial activities and more.

Festifall has been postponed for a later date due to Hurricane Ian. Check back for updates regarding new date and times.

Greer Arts & Eats Festival

Explore downtown Greer at the Greer Arts & Eats Festival. This two-day event is filled with local vendors, live music and more.

The event was postponed due to Hurricane Ian. Check back for updates regarding new date and times.

The Greer Chamber of Commerce asks those who attend to please not bring pets or coolers to the event.

Spartanburg Greek Festival

The Spartanburg Greek Festival was held Sept, 16 through 18 at the St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 697 Asheville Highway.

Fr8Yard's Annual Oktoberfest

The event was held Oct. 1 at Fr8Yard, located on 125 E Main St. in downtown Spartanburg.

Spartanburg International Festival

The International Festival was held Oct. 15, at Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium.
