Fall turns deadly at Foley apartment complex
FOLEY, Ala. (WKRG) — A Tuesday morning fall at a Baldwin County apartment complex turned deadly, according to the Foley Police Department.

Emergency responders at around 2:37 a.m. reported to Alison Pointe apartments on County Road 20 after learning a woman had fallen down a flight of stairs.
INCIDENT LOCATION:
“Foley’s Police and Fire Department personnel arrived within minutes,” an FPD news release said.
Upon arrival, they reportedly found a 63-year-old woman at the bottom of the stairs, unconscious, injured and non-responsive.
“Lifesaving measures were attempted,” the release said. “Regrettably, the woman did not regain consciousness. She was pronounced dead at the scene.”
The Foley PD, the Gulf Shores Police Department’s Crime Scene Unit, and the Baldwin County Coroner’s Office investigated the fall and ruled out suspicion of foul play.
The Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences will examine the body, according to the release.
