Falling in love with The Corner Pub; lift a Tune & Fork Tuesday

The Corner Pub, a place where they know everyone's name in the Kittery Foreside, has changed hands.

Owners Glen Jodoin, Andrew Edgar and Michael Landgarten, the past owner of many Kittery restaurants, revived the neighborhood eatery and bar and have now handed this place close to Kittery's heart over to a new team of owners who just fell in love with the place. The good news is nothing will change - they love The Corner Pub just the way it is.

The deal marked the end of an era in local restaurant history. The Corner Pub was the last Kittery business Landgarten, who is credited with reviving the Foreside into a vibrant, thriving downtown, owned. Previously he owned Bob’s Clam Hut, Robert’s Maine Grill and Lil’s Cafe, in addition to formerly co-owning the 7 Wallingford Square building that houses Lil’s, Anju Noodle Bar, the Wallingford Dram and other businesses.

New Tune & Fork series wants to become your summertime tradition

Another match made in heaven - a picnic of food truck specialties and live music. TEAM (Town.Exeter.Arts.Music) has partnered with the town’s Parks and Recreation Department to host Tune & Fork Tuesdays, a weekly series promoting local food trucks and live music that runs through Aug. 23. Head on over to Exeter to check out the new summertime tradition.
