Family concerned about man jailed in Venezuela

The family of a former Marine jailed in Venezuela says it is concerned about his safety. Matthew Heath was arrested two months ago and accused of being a spy and a terrorist. But his uncle says he deserves to come home. (Nov. 10)

EVERETT RUTHERFORD: Matthew was in the wrong place at the wrong time, wrong nationality, and it certainly didn't help things he had a military background.


CHUCK FLEISCHMANN: We are putting every type of diplomatic pressure that we know on the regime to find out about his well-being, which we're very concerned about.

EVERETT RUTHERFORD: His treatment wasn't stellar. So God gave us great concern for his well-being as well. He's a normal guy. He's one of us, and he deserves to come home from the Venezuelan circumstances.
