Family Dollar store in Slocomb shutting down
SLOCOMB, Ala. (WDHN) — Family Dollar is closing its store in Slocomb, a company manager confirms to WDHN.
It comes as the business plans on closing nearly 1,000 stores across the country.
Back in 2015, Dollar Tree bought Family Dollar but since then the company has struggled to maintain some of its Family Dollar locations.
The Slocomb store located at 534 Lawrence St. will close but no date has been set so far.
