A new beer garden has debuted in the neighborhood. Called South Austin Beer Garden, the new addition is located at 10700 Manchaca Road.

With its 'backyard party' vibe, this family-friendly spot is already drawing the locals for relaxation and recreation. That's exactly how founders--David Pearce, Christopher Cantu and Ryan Thomas--want the space to be used, reports Austin 360.

The location boasts a 3,000 square foot deck, 56 draft beers on tap and a cocktail menu developed with local mixologist Justin Elliot. Non-alcoholic beverages like frozen Coke and root beer are also featured. Eats are provided by award-winning food truck Cluck-N-Burger, which offers burgers, tacos and chicken fried steak.

With a 3.5-star rating out of three reviews on Yelp, the new addition is gradually winning fans.

Amanda K. wrote, "You can bring your dogs, watch TV, and drink under umbrellas while sitting on picnic tables. Their selection includes beers, ciders, and cocktails. Overall, a great place to chill out and grab a few pints."

South Austin Beer Garden is now open at 10700 Manchaca Road., so swing on by to take a peek.
