Family Gras 2024 returns to Metairie this weekend

METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) — Family Gras 2024 is bringing Mardi Gras magic back to Metairie again this weekend.

The free, weekend-long event showcases Mardi Gras parades, food, local art, a kids’ court and outdoor concerts.

Mardi Gras 2024 Parade Routes

This year’s music lineup features artists like Amy Grant, Cheap Trick, Amanda Shaw, The Creole String Beans, Mad City, Zebra, The Oak Ridge Boys, Tyler Hubbard of Florida Georgia Line, Revisiting Creedence and more.

Family Gras will run from Friday, Feb. 2 to Sunday, Feb. 4 at Mardi Gras Plaza, which is across from Lakeside Shopping Center in the 3300 block of Veterans Memorial Boulevard.
