The family of a man fatally shot at a Minneapolis pawn shop during protests over the death of George Floyd demanded charges in his death Tuesday. (July 21)
CADAEZHAH HORTON: I just want to say, we're absolutely heartbroken at the fact that the man who was able to shoot my dad in his back and kill him is still free.
- A cowardly move.
CADAEZHAH HORTON: And we're left to feel as if we're the ones in prison.
BEN CRUMP: Furthermore, the funeral director said that he didn't see any gunshots to his chest--
BEN CRUMP: --at all!
BEN CRUMP: But what we do see, Attorney [INAUDIBLE], is the video where they move his body, the blood all on the sidewalk--
BEN CRUMP: --that seems to be the shots were from the back.
MAE ROBERTS: The only thing I want is justice, because I called-- I gets no answer. I get the runaround. Nothing is being done for my son. This is my son, my firstborn son.
BEN CRUMP: Yes, ma'am.
- That's right.
