Arielle Anderson, of Harper Woods, Mich. is one of the three victims of Monday night's mass shooting at Michigan State University's campus.

The family of Arielle Anderson has started a memorial fundraiser for the Michigan State University student who was killed during Monday's mass shooting on the campus. A service and vigil have also been planned.

"We appreciate any donations and all the love and support during this time," wrote Timothy Davis, Anderson's uncle, on a GoFundMe page, which had raised more than $25,000 of a $50,000 goal as of Friday morning.

The two others killed were also students, Brian Fraser, 20 of Grosse Pointe, and Alexandria Verner, 20 of Clawson. Five other people were injured and hospitalized. One of the shooting victims has been been moved from critical to stable condition, officials said Thursday.

Family members described Anderson, 19 of Harper Woods, as bright, inspiring and humble. She aspired to become a doctor. She worked with senior citizens during the summer. Anderson graduated from Grosse Pointe North High School in 2021.

“We lost our precious daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, cousin and friend, Arielle Anderson. She means the world to us. As much as we loved her, she loved us and others even more. She was passionate about helping her friends and family, assisting children and serving people," the family said in a statement this week.

Anderson was working to graduate early from MSU.

"As an Angel here on Earth, Arielle was sweet and loving with an infectious smile that was very contagious. We are absolutely devastated by this heinous act of violence upon her and many other innocent victims," the statement went on to say.

A candle light vigil is scheduled for Saturday at 5 p.m. at the First English Evangelical Lutheran Church, 800 Vernier Road in Grosse Pointe Woods, across from Grosse Pointe North High School. Visitation is scheduled for Monday from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Q A Cantrell Funeral Home on 22121 Kelly Road in Eastpointe. The funeral will take place Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Zion Hope Missionary Baptist Church at 4867 Van Dyke Street in Detroit.

There has been outpouring of support for victims of Monday's mass shooting at Michigan State.

The older sister of one of the injured, Guadalupe Huapilla-Perez, started a GoFundMe page and said her family members were anticipating being burdened with costs and monthly bills. The fundraiser, as of Friday morning, raised more than $396,000. Huapilla-Perez is a hospitality business junior at MSU, her sister said.

Fraser's fraternity, MSU's Phi Delta Theta chapter, has also launched a memorial scholarship in his name, which has, as of Friday morning, raised more than $56,000 of a $75,000 goal. Fraser served as president of the chapter.

"Funds raised in Brian's memory will support the Brian Fraser Presidential Memorial Scholarship, which will help future Michigan Beta presidents fund their education. It is our hope at Phi Delta Theta and the hope of Brian's parents that each Phi who receives this scholarship will embody Brian's charismatic, contagious smile and caring, loyal energy," according to organizers.
