Famous basketball player killed in Lviv by Russian missile attack

A famous Ukrainian basketball player, Viktor Kobzystyi, has been killed in a Russian missile attack on Lviv on 29 December.

Quote from Nikulin: "Viktor Kobzystyi, a Ukrainian basketball player, coach, and international master of sports of Ukraine, has been killed by the Russian missile attack on Lviv."

Details: Mykhailo Brodskyi, President of Ukraine's Basketball Federation, confirmed Kobzystyi's death.

For reference: Kobzystyi played for the Ukrainian national team at the European Championships in 2001 and 2005. He also played for Dnipro, Budivelnyk and Azovmash teams. He retired from playing in 2011. He was the head coach of the women's Dynamo Kyiv.
