Coca-Cola 600 Fan Guide: Speed Street, races and other high-octane happenings
Before the green flag waves at the Coca-Cola 600 on Sunday at Charlotte Motor Speedway, race fans can check out these high-octane happenings, both on and off the track.
Speed Street
Circle K Speed Street will make its debut at its new home this year. The long-running street festival is moving from uptown to Charlotte Motor Speedway. Grammy-nominated rapper Flo Rida will headline festivities on Friday, while Rock & Roll Hall of Famer Steve Miller will take the stage on Saturday.

The event will also include a 10-acre fan zone where there will be driver appearances by some of NASCAR’s biggest names, interactive games and displays, food trucks, souvenir haulers and other activities.
The festival opens at 2 p.m. on Friday, 9 a.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. on Sunday.
Admission to Speed Street is free every day with any weekend race ticket, or $20 at the gate.
The Races
Friday
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series and ARCA Menards Series kick off the weekend on Friday. The ARCA Menards Series will have practice and qualifying beginning at 12 p.m.
Practice for the truck series begins at 1:30 p.m. and qualifying is at 2 p.m.
The ARCA Menards Series General Tire 150 starts at 6 p.m.
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series North Carolina Education Lottery 200 begins at 8:30 p.m.
Ticket prices start at $30. Children ages 12 and younger get in free.
Saturday
The NASCAR Xfinity Series regulars will take on NASCAR Cup Series superstars in the Alsco Uniforms 300 on Saturday at 1 p.m.

Sunday
The 63rd running of the NASCAR Cup Series Coca-Cola 600 is set for Sunday.
Southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyrd will perform on pit road before the race at 3:50 p.m.
There will also be a patriotic tribute to the U.S. Armed Forces featuring Lee Greenwood, the 82nd Airborne Chorus and U.S. Army Black Hawks at 4:55 p.m.
Driver introductions begin at 5:30 p.m. and Carolina Panthers wide receiver DJ Moore will drive the pace car to lead the field to green at 6 p.m.
Reserved grandstand seats for the Coca-Cola 600 are sold out. A limited number of standing-room-only tickets are available for $40 and children ages 12 and younger get in for $10 with a paying adult.

Know Before You Go
Fans are encouraged to purchase tickets online in advance. On race days, select gates will be open for ticket sales as well.
All tickets and parking passes will be mobile and delivered digitally.
Concessions are cashless, and all major credit and debit cards are accepted.
A maximum of two bags per person is permitted. Bags or backpacks should be no larger than 18x18x14 inches.
Fans may also bring one soft-sided cooler no larger than 14x14x14 inches.

Fan Fests
In addition to the action happening at Charlotte Motor Speedway, several teams, including Hendrick Motorsports, JR Motorsports and Roush Fenway Keselowski Racing will be hosting fan events.
JR Motorsports, at 349 Cayuga Drive in Mooresville, will host fans from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Thursday.
RFK Racing, at 4600 Roush Place in Concord, will host fans from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Friday.
Hendrick Motorsports, at 4400 Papa Joe Hendrick Blvd., will host fans from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday.
