Fans, businesses hope for successful season despite Sacramento Kings loss in home opener

Despite a nail-biting loss Wednesday night for the start of the Sacramento Kings regular season, fans and businesses said they are hoping for a successful season. Kings fans flocked to the Golden 1 Center to watch their hometown team take on the Portland Trail Blazers for the first game of the season. The game ended with Portland winning 115-108. Longtime Kings fan Greg Felker said it has been a bumpy ride supporting the team, but he hopes there will be more victories to celebrate under new head coach Mike Brown. "We've got a real coach, and so that's half the battle. Plus, we got a decent team now," Felker said.
