Fans in England had trouble identifying MLB logos with one exception: the KC Royals
The Titans won the NFL’s schedule release day with a video of fans having serious trouble identifying the logos of Tennessee’s 2023 opponents.
It was a genius idea, and one that the MLB Network admitted it stole for a video it recorded in London when the Cubs and Cardinals played there last week.
British fans were shown MLB logos and asked by Robert Flores if they knew the team name.
There were some funny responses like New York White Sox, Cedar Rapids Rockies and Detroit Motor Cars.
But one team logo was relatively easy for those Brits to name: the Kansas City Royals (although one did say the Chiefs). Check it out.

Perhaps fans in England know the Royals because of their own royals who live in Buckingham Palace. Or maybe the Royals made an impact when they won the 2015 World Series. One other thought: fans there may be big fans of the Lorde song, which was inspired by George Brett.
Whatever the reason, it’s better than being called the Atlanta Angels.
