Fans Are Freaking Out After Selena Gomez Seemingly Teased an Upcoming Album on Instagram

Brace yourself, because a new Selena Gomez era may be upon us. Selenators are in a tail spin after the singer shared a seemingly not-so-subtle album teaser on her Instagram Stories. On Tuesday, Selena posted a photo of her wrist, wearing a beaded bracelet that reads "SG 3" with the caption,"#SG3."

Many fans immediately assumed this was Selena's way of sharing that a new album is coming soon, and they rushed to Twitter to share their excitement. Before long "SG3 is coming" was trending on the platform.

Others started manifesting the collabs they hope to see on the new album, including Selena with BTS, Cardi B, and, of course, Taylor Swift.

Selena's post comes not long after she revealed that she would give music "one last try" before retiring. "It’s hard to keep doing music when people don’t necessarily take you seriously," she said in her March 2021 cover interview with Vogue. "I’ve had moments where I’ve been like, 'What’s the point? Why do I keep doing this?'"

It's possible that this upcoming album will be that "one last try," but hopefully it will show Sel that the world needs her music.
