Fans Think Christie Brinkley and Her Daughter Sailor Look Identical in New Photos

Fans think Christie and her daughter Sailor Brinkley-Cook look identical in the photos.
The two have a close relationship and have been spending time together in quarantine.
On Sunday, Christie Brinkley enjoyed a boating day with her family, and the model shared a bunch of pictures from the weekend outing to Instagram. In the photos, Christie posed with her 22-year-old daughter, Sailor Brinkley-Cook. Sailor wore a cute pink bikini and braids, while Christie rocked a ruffled white swimsuit and a hat.
She also shared a photo of her daughter Alexa Ray Joel and son Jack Brinkley-Cook, as well as a video of Sailor with beautiful sunny skies in the background. “Peaceful day on the bay with my family,” she wrote in the caption.

While the weekend looked lovely, fans sounded off in the comments about the uncanny resemblance between Christie and Sailor in the photos. “Your daughter is YOU omg,” one person wrote. “I thought she was you for a second!” another echoed.
“You and your daughter are absolutely gorgeous Christie!” another person commented.
At 66, we can’t deny that Christie looks happier and healthier than ever. She credits her youthful glow to a veggie-rich diet, consistent workouts, and all the right skincare (which includes daily exfoliation and tons of sunscreen).
Not only do Sailor and Christie look alike, but the two are as tight as can be. When Christie injured her wrist while practicing for Dancing with the Stars, Sailor swooped in and took her place. She even fit into her mom’s performance outfit for the premiere.
“I’m doing this mostly for my mom! I just want to make her happy and make her proud,” Sailor told Good Morning America at the time. “She loved doing this, she loves dancing and she loves performing and getting hurt was her worst nightmare.”
In an Instagram post from May, Sailor shared a throwback pic of her and her mom, writing in the caption how much Christie means to her. “The beginning and end of all equations. The root of who I am and who I aspire to be. My home in a human being. I love you endlessly mama! To the moon and the stars and back.”

Since May, Sailor has been living at her mom’s house in the The Hamptons. The family has been working on their “Victory Garden,” in which they plan to donate items for COVID-19 relief.
Christie recently told Extra that their family is “doing very well. We count our blessings. We’re healthy and that’s what’s the most important, and then we’re together and that’s wonderful.”
