"You love the paparazzi, love the fame/Even though you know it causes me pain," Gaga sings on the track. "I feel like I'm in a prison hell/Stick my hands through the steel bars and yell/What happens now? I'm not OK/And if I scream, you walk away/When I'm sad, you just wanna play/I've had enough/why do I stay?"

Gaga told Apple Music’s Zane Lowe that the track addresses her own struggles with mental health, but fans had a different take.

Gaga and Carino ended their engagement at the tail end of her Star Is Born press tour. The news came less than a week ahead of the 2019 Oscars. The singer is now dating CEO Michael Polansky, whom she casually referred to as “the love of my life” in an April interview.
