Taylor Swift's Lover album has been out for a couple hours—and already, fans are speculating Swift may have dropped bombshell personal news in her songs' lyrics. Several on Twitter are speculating she may have secretly married (or is about to secretly marry) her British boyfriend of three years, Joe Alwyn, because of the wedding imagery throughout the album.

Swift has not confirmed this, and E! reported on August 9 that it was told by a source that Swift is not even engaged. If Swift has plans to get married or did, she'll share the news when she's ready in her own way.

Still, these lyrics had fans convinced that she's at least hinting the possibility.

On "Lover," she sang actual vows to her lover and likely subject of the song, Alwyn. The idea of having some borrowed and blue is part of wedding tradition:

Ladies and Gentlemen / Will you please stand / With every guitar string scar on my hand / I take this magnetic force of a man to be mine / Lover / My heart’s been borrowed and yours has been blue / All’s well that ends well to end up with you

And expresses how she wants to spend the rest of her life with him:

I've loved you three summers honey / And I want them all

On "Paper Rings," she reiterates how committed she is to her partner:

I like shiny things, but I'd marry you with paper rings / Uh huh, that's right / Darling, you're the one I want

And on "It's Nice to Have a Friend," she literally talked about getting married in a church (rice is thrown down after weddings):

Church-bells ring / Carry me home / Rice on the ground / Looks like snow / Call my bluff / Call you babe

Swift, for her part, has not commented on the speculation at all yet. She did like a Tumblr post suggesting the reason why she rejected the engagement ring in her "ME!" video was because it was paying homage to the lyric "I'd marry you with paper rings." But "I'd," aka I would, does not mean I did.

Still, it was enough for fans to speculate on Twitter about it:

And they may not be too far off about the possibility. Us Weekly reported earlier this year that a proposal was in the cards for Alwyn and Swift, who had kept their relationship very private. In March, a source told the outlet: "Joe wants to marry her and she wants to marry him. He’s just waiting to find the perfect time to propose. He wants to make it unforgettable and extremely special."
