A packed house at Monroe's FOP Hall enjoyed a full night of pro wrestling Nov. 30 at Insane Wrestling Revolution's IWR 16 — Goresgiving.

Fans came in droves and really outdid themselves cheering, chanting and donating over two full carts of food and toys for the Insane Food & Toy Drive to benefit the Oaks of Righteousness Food Pantry and Homeless Shelter.

The VIP action started off hot with Impact Wrestling superstar Shogun Jackson Stone suplexing his way to victory over The Perminator Sam Beale and his corner man, OX.

Next up in the VIPs was GameChangers Chinstrap Jesus Kyle Barrett taking on The Big Bad Wolf Ace Evans. Barrett took the W in a hard-fought, contested match.

The VIP portion ended with Top Tier Tanner Nix defeating The EH Team's Rear Commander Cody but Nix took a beating after the match when Bry Sullivan entered the ring at the urging of manager Jeremiah Goldmain.

During intermission, a very intense Buckeye Sam put out an open challenge to any IWR superstar in the house, and Tiny But Mighty Hannah Henderson came out to the roar of the IWR crowd. Buckeye Sam stole a victory with the help of his trainer.

The main card started off like only an IWR event can with a United States Triple Threat Title Match between Champion Top Notch Jason Hotch, former champion and current Impact Wrestling X Division Champion Trey Miguel and DTA's Lovable Psychopath Tommy Vendetta. This match could have been the match of the night as well as a contender for match of the year when these three high-flying, hard-hitting superstars went at it. Eventually, IWR US Champion Hotch retained his title by pinning Vendetta.

Next up was a handicap match between the team of The Bachelor Ben Boone and Amazing N8 Mattson against crowd favorite The Main Event Monster Madman Fulton. Fulton had his hands full taking on both IWR superstars at the same time and even was offered a rose at one point from the Bachelor. However, Madman bit the head off the rose, spit it in Boone's face and submitted both men at the same time with a Gory Special/Boston Crab combo.

The next match was a grudge match between Grimey Zach Thomas and The Kenny Urban for Goose. This Goose Crossing Lumberjack Match was ultimately won by Kenny and finally reunited with his best friend, Goose.

The next match was the highly anticipated IWR World Tag Team Titles Match between Champions Aaron Orion, Jack Price of DTA and Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley, The Motor City Machine Guns! The crowd was hyped for this match with dual chants of Motor City/DTA echoing off the walls of Insanity. The match went back and forth with amazing chemistry shown between both teams but ultimately was called a draw due to the 20-minute time limit with DTA retaining their titles. Sabin drew chants from the crowd for five more minutes, but that was interrupted by the intrusive John Eh. Bravo, and a melee ensued leading into the last match of the night between IWR World Heavyweight Champion Dread King Logan and Monroe's own Manbeast Rhino. This extreme hardcore match was fought throughout the House of Insanity with multiple tables, chairs, doors and garbage cans being destroyed. The match ended with Rhino being disqualified for pushing the referee after the ref failed to count 1-2-3 and showing his allegiance to The Eh Team. Bravo came out at the end and challenged Rhino to fight his guy for the deed to his boatyard. Rhino agreed, and to the surprise of Rhino and the IWR fans his guy was none other than NWA superstar King Thomas Latimer. These two bulls fought hard and punished each other with King Latimer getting the victory after Bravo threw a fireball in Rhino's face. Rhino's condition was not immediately known after the match and whether he would give up the deed to his boatyard was uncertain.

Insane Wrestling Revolution returns Dec. 29 with IWR 17 — Holiday Hijinks featuring Dirty Dango, formerly known as WWE's Fandango, taking on Impact superstar The Swingman Johnny Swinger. More insane matches are to be announced.
