James Robinson or Nyheim Hines: Which RB will be the better play in Week 2?

Video Transcript

- And, Tank, tell us why Nyheim Hines is the right answer here?

[MUSIC PLAYING]

- Yeah. I see you let me go first, so you want me to use up all the time. So you can just hopefully fade the black. But I'm telling you, like, Lizzie already talked up Nyheim Hines already. And I think Lizzie and I are seeing eye to eye this week because-- I mean, we've seen with that Los Angeles Rams offense could do. And I expect them to come in and take advantage of that coach defense yet again, just the way that Russell Wilson did.

So you look at it from that standpoint, the Colts are going to be playing from behind. My man, Carson Wentz really is looking like the Ginger Fish Jr, Andy Dalton Jr. And so until they get that resolved-- like, Nyheim Hines is going to be the guy that-- the franchise values him. They just signed him to a new contract.

He's going to get volume in the pass game. He's going to get used in like these gadget plays in the red zone. So I like the way they used him. He's always going to be involved in that game. And we already talked about James Robinson. Like, Carlos Hyde is their guy. The game script is going to go totally against him. Where I feel like the game strip is going to be totally in my man, Nyheim Hines favor.

So for all those reasons-- I'm doing you a favor for talking a little bit longer. I feel like Nyheim Hines is the play, which is why, in this fantasy face off of week two, I win. You may not want to even try to justify your answer. You may just want to go ahead and slide to the next segment. But it's up to you.

[LAUGHTER]

- Yeah. The best thing I can do here is just go 1 for 1 in face offs this week. I appreciate you filibustering there. I just want to give a little bit of a pep talk to the people who have James Robinson on their roster. I got nothing bad to say about Hines. I'd probably go Hines here. And I know that Robinson's coming off the 8th touch game. That's really bad.

He still played 63% of the snaps. He still saw six targets. He's the guy that they're going to throw to out of the backfield. Carlos Hyde is never going to go away. That's going to be a problem all year. But Robinson is the guy that they're going to throw to.

There's at least a possibility here that they need to start chucking the ball against the Denver Broncos. So I don't think he's a total disaster this week. But again, I'd probably go home.
