Which RB will be a better fantasy play in week 6?

Video Transcript

ANDY BEHRENS: Listen, we're mixing up the match-ups this week. Let the record show that this right here is the winner's bracket. Obviously, Liz took care of business with Tank, and I took care of business with Matt. So now we are facing off, and we're talking about a pair of running backs.

Listen, I've been set up. I was set up in the last block of the show when Liz teed up Matt for his thoughts on this very match-up. Oh, you love to see the team work I guess. It's Daryl Williams. It's Devontae Booker. It's two of the big waiver claims of the week. Liz, tell us why you and Matt like Daryl Williams.

LIZ LOZA: Well, Matt mentioned Daryl Williams touchdown upside. He's already scored twice this season. So fine.

Also, he's been with the team since 2018, so there's familiarity with the system. And I'm gonna take the running back that's frankly attached to the better quarterback and the better offense and is in a really good match-up. Because the most surprising thing I think about the Washington Football Team hasn't, in fact, been Taylor Heinicke. I'd "Tyler'd" him. Hmm, not this week.

It's not been Taylor Heinicke but the fact that the defense has been so bad. They've given up the most fantasy points to opposing running backs over the past two weeks. So I like the offense. I like the match-up. What's not to like?

ANDY BEHRENS: Oh, sure, you can chase after good offenses, and good players, and high scoring systems, and all that. That's fine. I guess that works. I'm gonna go with a guy who never comes off the field, and that was Devontae Booker last week. He played 88% of the snaps.

I don't think he's necessarily the most dazzling running back, but there's nobody else who's going to get backfield touches for that team. 88% of the snaps last week, caught three passes, had a garbage time touchdown, had a not quite garbage time touchdown on a short yardage carry-- he's just going to get all of the touches here.

Definitely gonna be 20 plus. Jerick McKinnon last week played about a third of the snaps for the Chiefs, so we're gonna to see a little bit of him. So for me, this is just Booker purely on volume.
